Description:
The extracellular proteomes of W3110 (K-12) and BL21 (B) were determined using MS and 2-DE (Xia, 2008). They reported a total of 84 extracellular proteins in the media during high cell density cultivation (HCDC), 32 in common and 20 were BL21-specific and 33 were W3110-specific. However, Table 1 only listed 31 W3110-specific proteins, for a new total of 63 extracellular K-12 proteins identified and these are linked to this Topic.
